A car has rammed into a busy outdoor Christmas market in Germany. Two people have died, including a child. At least 60 were injured. It happened on Friday in the eastern city of Magdeburg, which has about 240,000 residents. Authorities say they believe the crash was a deliberate attack.

Local media say the car drove into the crowd, travelling for about 400 meters. Officials say they've arrested a 50-year-old doctor from Saudi Arabia as a suspect, who has been in Germany since 2006. They believe the perpetrator was acting alone.
