Blood Donation: Volunteers donate blood in Kachin State

Kachin State Voluntary Blood Donors Association organized a blood donation event to mark the 60th Anniversary of Myanmar Blood Donor Day on 20th December.

Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, together with Minister for Natural Resources U Taint  Saung, Minister for Transport U Khin Maung Htwe, Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Kyaw Min Khine, State Advocate-General Daw Nan HlaHla Aye, and other responsible individuals, visited the 500 Bedded Hospital in Myitkyina Township to encourage the blood donors.

Medical Superintendent Dr. Win Maw, along with responsible personnel, the Chairman of the Kachin State Voluntary Blood Donors Association and officials supported necessities for convenience of blood donors. Nutritional food and refreshments were also provided to the donors, while presenting cash assistance to the National Blood Bank and the Kachin State Voluntary Blood Donors Association.
