






Jointly organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and Anti-Corruption Commission, an awareness seminar on anti-corruption measures was held at the office No.31 on 19th December with the attendance of the Union Minister U Tin Oo Lwin, deputy ministers, members of the anti-corruption commission and many other concerned officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister highlighted the purpose of an awareness seminar and elaborated the crucial role of accountability, transparency and integrity in shouldering the nation’s responsibilities. In order to implement clean government and good governance, anti-corruption measures must be carried out effectively, he added. And, member of the Anti-Corruption Commission Dr. Tun Tun Oo emphasized the seminar's objectives, negative impact of corruption, the Commission’s anti-corruption measures, formation of anti-corruption teams and operation and corruption prevention action plans.
Next, the Deputy Director General and director of the Anti-Corruption Commission Office made discussions on nature of corruption, anti-corruption law and investigation sector. In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Aye Tun attended the meeting with the Anti-corruption Commission members and clarified the formation of anti-corruption committees under the Ministry and their work implementation.
