India and China hold high-level border talks

India and China convened their 23rd Special Representatives meeting in Beijing on December 18, marking a significant step toward resolving their border dispute.

During the meeting, discussions were made upon fostering peace and stability along the India-China border.

The talks emphasized the implementation of the October 2024 disengagement agreement, allowing resumption of activities. Both sides agreed on measures to ensure border tranquility and prevent conflicts from impeding bilateral relations.
