Announcement of Thai Embassy: Thai Embassy announced on Visa Section’s phone number

The Thai Embassyin Myanmar issued an announcement on the Visa Section’s Telephone Number on 18th December, 2024.

The announcement of the Royal Thail Embassy is as follow:

The Visa Section of the Embassy has not been a holder of the telephone no. 09767470765 for the past 3 months due to the technical problem. The Embassy therefore has no association with any persons who claim to be the Embassy's staff from this telephone number during the past 3 months.

The Visa Section has further learned that the Viber no. 09759928611, claiming to be one of the Embassy's staff, the Embassy hereto announces that the said number has never been associated with the Embassy, and the holder of the said telephone no. is not the Embassy's staff.

The Embassy wishes to emphasize that the Visa Section has accepted visa fees only in USD banknote at the counter of the Visa Section at the Embassy, and has no other any methods of payment such as online banking, KBZ, nor Thai bank account transfer. Therefore, the Embassy will not be responsible to any payments except the USD banknote payment at the counter.

Any persons who have already transferred the visa fees to the account provided by anyone who claimed to be the Embassy's staff be advised to report this matter to the local police.
