Myanmar secured a 3-2 victory over Laos on Wednesday in the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup, held at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon. Myanmar took the lead in the first half, with Lwin Moe Aung scoring the opening goal in the 32nd minute.

Laos equalized in the 77th minute and then took the lead with a second goal in the 81st minute. However, Myanmar's Win Naing Tun scored an equalizer in the 87th minute and then netted the winning goal in the 93rd minute. Myanmar now has 4 points after three games, with one win, one draw, and one loss, ranking level with Indonesia. Myanmar will play against Vietnam on the 21st at Viet Tri Stadium in Viet Nam.
