SAC issues Orders: Formation of three new commissions

The State Administration Council issued an Order No.54/2024 on Wednesday concerning the formation of Industrial Development Commission.

The 16-member Commission is chaired by General Mya Tun Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications. 

Likewise, the Council issued the formation of Electricity and Energy Development Commission by Order No.55/2024. Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Admiral Tin Aung San chairs the commission which is comprised of 17 members. In addition, the Agriculture and Livestock Development Commission was formed by Order No.56/2024. A 16-member commission is chaired by General Nyo Saw, member of the State Administration Council. The duties and tasks of each commission will be issued on separate announcement. The orders were signed by General Aung Lin Dwe, Secretary of the State Administration Council.
