Small Scale Industries: Efforts to increase family income of rural people

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein attended a business equipment provision ceremony under the project to establish small scale industries and to increase family income of the rural people at the Small Scale industries Department in MawlamyineTownship on 18th December.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stressed that a total of 11 vocational training courses have been conducted in 11 villages within the State during 2024-2025 Financial Year. He added that the income of rural families will be increased by establishing small scale industries which can offer job opportunities.

The Chief Minister also instructed the efficient utilization of the business equipment and encouraged the entrepreneurs to become successful in their respective industries.

Subsequently, the Director of the Small scale industries clarified the current work implementations of the project. After providing business equipment to the outstanding trainees, the Chief Minister and officials made a tour to the gallery where the business equipment are displayed.
