Inspection of development works: NPT Council Chairman inspected development works

The Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, along with members of Nay Pyi Taw Council, members of Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee and officials from relevant departments inspected the regional development activities in Lewe Township in the morning on 18th December.

Firstly, the Chairman attended a ceremony providing substitution of livestock lost due to the flooding,held in Aye Chan Tha Village, Lewe Township. He met with local farmers, delivered a speech, handed over certificates of transferring cattle, pigs and goats and coordinated requirements reported by the local farmers.

Following this, Council Chairman inspected the ongoing road construction project between Aye Chan Tha and Aung Chan Tha villages in Lewe Township and gave necessary instructions to the responsible officials to ensure long-term sustainability of the road and to meet the required standards.

Furthermore, the Chairman visited the high-tech rice milling plant, rice cleaning plant, paddy drying plant, and rice trading business in Yone Pin Village, Lewe Township and inspected the operations of the milling equipment and facilities. He instructed the officials to ensure the products meet quality standards and to focus on expanding export opportunities and coordinated requirements.
