Coordination Meeting: Sagaing Region CM gave necessary instructions

The Micro, Smalland Medium Enterprise (MSME) Development Coordination Meeting was held at the meeting hall of Sagaing Region Government Office on 17th December.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, Region government members, Region Level Departmental Officials Chairmen of District Administrative Bodies from Monywa in person and the Naga Self-Administered Zone, Kale, Khanti, Sagaing, Yay-U, Shwebo and Homalin Districts, who participated via video conferencing.

At the meeting, Chief Minister U Myat Kyaws aid that, as a region, they had provided loans for agricultural, livestock, and related industries, as well as for micro, smalland medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and associations according to the type of business.

He stressed that the Region MSME Agency need to carry out the processes of surveys and market research for both domestic and international markets to utilize systematically for the improvement of industries and provide necessary Services and give accurate guidance for business development correctly and efficiently.Following this, Chairmen of the District Administrative Bodies from Naga Self-Administered Zone, Kale, Khanti, Sagaing, Yay-U, Shwebo and Homalin Districts, presented their reports via video conferencing and the Region Level Departmental heads and the Chairman of Monywa District also presented detailed reports about the use of country’s economic promotion funds, the status of loans provided, and the implementation of agricultural, livestock, and MSME projects in their respective districts and townships.

The reports included the current conditions of businesses using loans and were presented using Power Point.The Region Government members and attendees of the meeting further discussed and provided additional insights during the session.Finally, the Chief Minister concluded the meeting by addressing the suggestions and discussions raised by the attendees and coordinating the requirements.
