Inspection of construction works: Taninthayi Region CM inspected construction works

The Chief Minister of Tanintharyi Region, U Myat Ko, along with the Chief Justice of the Region Court, Region GovernmentMinisters and responsible officials visited the ongoing regional development projects in Kawthaung Township of Tanintharyi Region on 16th December. They inspected the construction sites of the new court building of Kawthaung District and Kawthaung Township, as well as the international border entry/exit gate construction site in Kawthaung.

First, the Chief Minister and party visited the construction site of the the new court building of Kawthaung District and Kawthaung Township. Responsible persons from Naung Yoe MyanmarDevelopment Company Limited, responsible for the project, explained the current progress and status of the construction work. Afterward, the Chief Minister and party toured the construction site and provided guidance on what needed to be done to ensure the timely and proper completion of the project.

Later, Chief Minister and party visited the Kawthaung International Border Gate construction project, located in the Annawa ward of Kawthaung, implementing by Naung Yoe MyanmarDevelopment Company Limited with funding from the Tanintharyi Region government’s budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. The Chief Minister, after inspecting the progress at the site, instructed the team to ensure that the construction work is completed with meeting quality assurance and within the designated timeframe.
