Sports Competitions: Commemoration for Golden Jubilee Rakhine State Day

In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Rakhine State Day, sports competitions were held at Danyawaddy Sports Ground and Stadium, and Futsal Ground in Sittwe Township from 9 to 14 December.

Winners of the sports events were awarded, at a ceremony held on Sunday. Chief Minister U Htein Lin and wife together with the Patron of State Women’s Affairs Organization, Chief Justicd of the State High Court, many other concerned officials and invited guests attended the event.

During the ceremony, medals and cash awards were presented to the winners of race, badminton and Futsal events. A championship trophy was also presented to the first prize winner of Futsal Tournament by the Chief Minister. After the ceremony, the Chief Minister and party cordially greeted the athletes and students.
