Public Recreation: New facilities for relaxation and physical activities

Commemorating the first anniversary of renovation of Mya Kan Thar Park in Taunggyi Township, the POKIDDO Children's Playground and Coffee Shop were opened to add the recreation facilities for the public on Friday.

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, along with other relevant officials attended the inauguration of the facilities in the park which is a popular public space that offers a perfect setting for relaxation and physical activities.

After hearing reports on the completion of the new facilities, the Chief Minister and party inaugurated the new facilities by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.  The ceremony included the presentation of cash rewards to the drum and bugle corps, pompom dance troupe and the KeinNariKeinNara dance troupes, followed by a documentary photo session.

The Chief Minister and party then toured the POKIDDO Playground, Coffee Shop and Mya KanThar Lake. Mya KanThar Park offers various activities, including archery, basketball, hiking, zip-lining, and water slides, along with a playground, pizza shop, and coffee shop, making it a perfect spot for both kids and adults to relax.
