Drug Seizure: 920 million kyats worth of drugs seized in Tachileik

The Myanmar Police Force seized 920 million kyats worth of Methamphetamine in Tachileik Township, Shan State (East).

Acting on a tip off, a combined task force including the members of the Anti-narcotic Drugs Force searched the Mitsubishi Pajero vehicle which was driven by Sai Shwe Aung from Kengtung to Tachileik near Mal Yan village of PhanMin village tract in Tachileik Townshipon 9th December and seized 115 kilograms of Methamphetamine.

According to the investigation, the seized drugs were transported from MongPing Township to Tachileik Township. Action has been taken against the suspects and further investigation is being carried to identify the perpetrators.
