Rural Development Effort: Sewing Course for income generation of rural community

Jointly organized by Nay Pyi Taw Department of Labor and Department of Small Scale Industries, a sewing course was opened at Sharsepho Village in Zeyathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo attended the opening ceremony, held at the village assembly hall. The Council Chairman encouraged the trainees to concentrate in courses and to become innovative entrepreneurs.

Cash assistance and necessary equipment for the training were also provided to the trainees. A total of 20 trainees from Sharsepho, Kyokone and Thapyaypin villages are attending the one-month training which will be conducted both theoretically and practically.
