Receiving Kalmykia delegation: SAC Chairman received delegation of Kalmykia

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received the Head of the Republic of Kalmykia Mr. Batu Khasikov at the hall of the SAC Chairman Office on Tuesday.

SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Union Ministers U Tin Oo Lwin and U Min Naung and Deputy Ministers, Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Iskander Azizov and representatives attended the meeting together with the Prime Minister.

During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on enhancing friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and the Republic of Kalmykia, as Myanmar and the Russia Federation are broadening bilateral relation and cooperation.

They also discussed matters on successfully holding of the International Buddhist Forum in Kalmykia in 2025, cooperation on development of tourism sector through promoting religious and economic cooperation and mutual support for the development of education, agriculture and livestock sectors and participation of officials from both side in familiarization trip (Fam Trip).

After the meeting, Prime Minister and Head of the Republic of Kalmykia exchanged commemorative gifts and posed for documentary photo.
