








Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw accompanied by regional level departmental officials and many other concerned officials conducted inspection tour in Paungbyin Township of Mawlaik District on Monday. First, the Chief Minister and party visited Yaza Muni Pariyatti Sarthintaik , donated offertories and supplicated religious matters. At 50-bed People’s Hospital (Paungbyin), the Chief Minister and party oversaw the provision of treatment to the patients and provided nutritious foods. During the meeting with Medical Superintended, doctors, nurses and health care staff at the meeting hall of the hospital, the Chief Minister received the reports, fulfilled the requirement and provided 1 million cash assistance. Then, they viewed around the oxygen plant constructed with the budget of regional government in the compound of the hospital.
At the Basic Education High School (Paungbyin), the Chief Minister inspected the durability of the school buildings and viewed around the students who are peacefully studying their lessons. The Chief Minister also cordially met with principal and teachers at the school hall and provided 5 million kyats cash assistance.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister and party met with departmental officials, Shan Traditional Literature and Culture Association and town elders at the meeting hall of the Township Administration Office. During the meeting, the Chief Minister heard the reports on current working processes for peace, stability and development of the township by the officials and coordinated the requirement.
It was followed by provision of 30 million kyats cash assistance for displaced people, 4 million kyats for Shan Traditional Literature and Culture Association, 5 million kyats for security force and departmental officials respectively. The Chief Minister wrapped up his inspection tour by inspecting of paving concrete road on Thetkeikyin- Paungbyin– Homalin-Khamti road section and coordinated the needs.
