




Union Minister for Health Professor Dr Thet Khaing Win met with the staff who will participate in the opening and closing ceremonies of the fifth National Sports Festival as well as the athletes and team managers of the Ministry Representing Team and health support personnel on Sunday.
He encouraged the staff to systematically participate in the events, taking care of their health, and also urged the athletes to take part the competitions based on the spirit of sportsmanship. He also viewed the arrangements for health care services during the events, instructing to be readied for providing emergency care.
The Union Minister later visited the City Golf Club and Wunna Theikdi Stadium to oversee the arrangement for health care facilities. During the fifth National Sports Festival, the Ministry of Health deploys 38 medical teams, comprising over 250 health staff.
In addition, 24-hour clinic is also operating at Ywa Taw Transit Camp, Sipin Guest House, Gold Camp and Lewe Training School. Moreover, the Rheumatology Specialist Clinic is also opened for part-time basis, providing treatment by the specialists. It is also available to receive treatment at the Traditional Medicine Clinic.
