Rural Development: MCRD Union Minister tours in Pyin Oo Lwin

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe inspected the development works in Pyin Oo Lwin Township of Mandalay Region on 5th December.

During the tour, the Union Minister oversaw the operation of water purification system at Kyee Kaing Village Basic Education Post Primary School, as well as the drainage system and construction of Slab Culvert along the village roads. He also met with local villagers, and discussed the regional development works. He also encouraged the welding business, operated under the MSME development and income generation program. In Theingaton Village, the Union Minister inspected dairy cow farm, giving instruction for systematic breeding process and having vaccination.

In meeting with the staff under the ministry, the Union Minister instructed to be dutiful and loyal to the state, serving the interest of the people. They then inspected the progress of asphalt paving on the road connecting the detour road and Naung Hlaing Village. The road benefits over 3,800 people from five villages.
