







Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited the National Kandawgyi Gardens in Pyin Oo Lwin on December 5th.
In the briefing hall, officials provided update reports on water inflow condition, conservation of floral in the gardens and plans for organizing the Centennial Anniversary Flower Festival. The Prime Minister instructed for sustainability of the facility which is the landmark of Pyin Oo Lwin, providing convenient arrangement for visitors. They then took a tour of the gardens, observing the conservation of florals, research center and test plantations and implementation of circular roads around the lakes.
The Prime Minister and party later proceeded to the construction site of 6-storey Thumingala (Nyan Taw) Market and officials reported on work progress, plans for opening of shops, placing playgrounds and cinemas, installation of solar power system, arrangements for local fresh fruits and meats market and banking area, battery chargers for EVs and drainage system.
The Prime Minister instructed for worksite safety with systematic drainage system, power supply and cleanliness. They then inspected the construction progress of the new market. Once completed, the 6-storey Thumingala (Nyan Taw) Market will be a one-stop super market in Pyin Oo Lwin, offering local products and consumer goods in a single place.
