Receiving delegations : UCSB Chairman received Russia & Belarus delegations

Chairman of Union Civil Service Board, Chairman of the Myanmar-Russia Friendship Association U Aung Thaw, received a delegation led by Mr.

Sholban Kara-Ool, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, on December 4 at 3:20 PM in the chairman’s reception hall.

During the meeting, they discussed the matters of  ongoing collaborations between Myanmar and Russia in various fields, including social, economic, and cultural sectors, future plans for strengthening ties and exploring new opportunities for Myanmar-Russia cooperation, prospects for enhanced collaboration in the future, the role of the Myanmar-Russia Friendship Association in facilitating Russia’s participation as international observers in the Election to be held in Myanmar etc. at 11:15 AM, U Aung Thaw, Chairman of the Myanmar-Belarus Friendship and Cooperation Promotion Association, received a delegation led by Mr. Uladzimir Baravikou, Belarusian Ambassador to Myanmar, based in Hanoi, at the reception hall of UCSB chairman’s Office.

First, UCSB Chairman and Ambassador of Belarus planted a Gantgaw tree at the UCSB’s Office compound to commemorate the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Belarus.

Subsequently, they discussed plans to celebrate this milestone anniversary, organize visits by high-level delegations between the two countries, and enhance bilateral relations.

They also explored ways to strengthen cooperation in trade, economy, culture, education, and other areas, as well as initiatives to promote Myanmar-Belarus friendship. Both sides engaged in open and constructive discussions on the matters.
