Inter-Ministerial Men’s football: Team MoEP competed against team MoNREC

As the part of 5th National Sports Festival 2024, at Group A round-robin matches in the Inter-Ministerial Open Class Men’s Football Tournament, the team represented the Ministry of Electric Power competed against the team represented the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation at the Nay Pyi Taw Sports Ground in Zabuthiri Township in the evening on 2nd December.

The match was attended by the Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Htun and spouse, Deputy Minister U Aye Kyaw and spouse, directors-general, deputy directors-general, and their spouses, departmental heads, officials, staff and families from the Ministry of Electric Power and sports enthusiasts who came to watch and cheer for the teams.

In the opening Group A match, the Ministry of Electric Power team and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation team competed intensely. According to the tournament schedule, the Ministry of Electric Power team will continue their matches against the Ministry of Information on December 4, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs on December 7, and the Ministry of Energy on December 10, it’s reported.
