Meeting with Athletes: MOD to send 133 athletes to National Sports Festival

Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Defence General Tin Aung San encouraged the Sports Teams representing the ministry in the 5th National Sports Festival.

During the tour, the Union Minister oversaw the athletes undergoing training for volleyball, Sepak Takraw, football and track and field at Zeyathiri Sports Stadium (B) and football ground.

He urged the athletes to participate in the sports events with full of sportsmanship, bringing prestige to the department and the nation as a whole. He also provided nutrition and cash assistance to the athletes. 133 athletes from the Ministry of Defence will participate in the 5th National Sports Festival in six sports types of football, volleyball, Sepak Takraw, Futsal, Track and Field and Golf.
