Opening of IT training: MoEA UM gave an opening speech

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, attended the opening ceremony of a knowledge-sharing session related to the SolarWinds Network Monitoring System, organized by the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and GNE Co. Ltd. at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

In his opening speech, the Union Minister stated that the SolarWinds Network Monitoring System is a network monitoring software that allows for real-time monitoring, security, and management of hardware, software, websites, and databases within the IT environment. He noted that after completing the two-day technical training session, participants would be able to understand the practical use of the SolarWinds Network Monitoring System and its advantages and disadvantages compared to other monitoring system software, enabling them to choose the best system for their needs.

The Deputy Minister further stated that with the rapid development of IT technologies in the world, digital technologies also pose challenges such as cyber-attacks and cybercrime. Therefore, network monitoring systems for studying, monitoring, and controlling networks have become essential.

He emphasized that this knowledge-sharing session would enhance the capabilities of the ministry's staff, enabling them to continuously apply the knowledge gained from the training to real-world scenarios and share their expertise with others.

Following this, the Branch Office Manager from GNE Co. Ltd. expressed gratitude. The Union Minister, Deputy Minister, and officials then posed for a group photo with the trainers, trainees, and participants, and ceremony was concluded. The training session will take place for two days, with a total of 33 trainees participating.
