




At the 2024 Mid-Year Myanmar Gems Emporium, a total of 750 jade lots, numbered 3310 to 4059 from Group C, were exclusively offered for sale to domestic gem traders.
On the eighth day of the emporium, these traders submitted price bids for the lots, and 694 jade lots were successfully sold through the open tender system on the ninth day.Additionally, 741 jade lots, numbered 4060 to 4800 from Group C, displayed in designated areas outside the Mani Yadana Jade Hall, were inspected by domestic gem traders.
Bidders submitted their price proposals into the respective tender boxes provided at the emporium.In the morning on 26th November, the Patron of Myanmar Gems Emporium Organizing Central Committee Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Khin Maung Yi, visited the designated areas outside the Jade Hall.
He observed the bidding process and provided guidance to responsible officials.In the afternoon, officials opened and reviewed the submitted price bids for jade lots numbered 4060 to 4800. The results of the sales for these lots will be announced on November 27.
The 2024 Mid-Year Myanmar Gems Emporium is being held at the Mani Yadanar Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw from 18th to 27th November. The emporium has facilitated the sale of 208 pearl lots, 62 gems lots, and 1823 jade lots from Groups A and B to both domestic and international gem traders. Furthermore, a total of 1429 jade lots from Group C, which were exclusively available to domestic traders for purchase in Myanmar Kyats, have also been successfully sold.
