Better Health Treatment: Successful Liver Transplant in Yangon

The 500-bed Specialty Hospital in Yangon has successfully performed liver transplants on patients aged 49 and 60 during November.

On November 23rd, Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win visited the patients and provided foodstuffs. Both the patients and donors are in good health and were discharged from the hospital on Sunday.

During the visit, the Union Minister met with those involved in the liver and kidney transplant operations, urging them to continue their work with accelerated momentum. He emphasized that the public would be able to incur lower health expenses and receive better treatment in public hospitals.
