Development Work: Urban plan, seamless trade flow and commodity price

On 23rd November, a clarification on drawing Kengtung Urban Development Project (draft) was made at the Shan State Government office in Taunggyi.

On the occasion, the relevant officials from Urban and Housing development Department presented matters on waste management, the design and area of the staff housing and rental housing which are planned to be constructed between Kangyi and PharMoon wards, Chief Minister U Aung Aung coordinated the requirements.

Later, the Chief Minister presided over a work coordination meeting on seamless trade flow in Shan State (East) at the state government office. During the meeting, the relevant officials presented reports on Wan Pong Port area, operation of state custom department, Tarlay-Parlyo-Kengtung road as well as the brief history of Wan Pong port.

Then, the sector wise discussions on ensuring seamless trade flow within Shan State (East) were made and the Chief Minister urged the attendees to present their respective work implementations systematically to secure best outcomes and decisions.

On the same day, the Chief Minister met with the departmental officials and entrepreneurs at the briefing hall of Shan Yoma Livestock Breeding Zone (1). Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stressed the purpose of the meeting which is to stabilize the increasing commodity prices.

During the meeting, the livestock breeders, animal feed manufacturers, State Commodity Price Stability working committees and departmental officials presented sector-wise reports and tasks being undertaken. Upon reports, the Chief Minister called for concerted efforts of the relevant individual in stabilizing commodity prices for well-being and interest of the nation and citizens.
