Regional Meetings: Myanmar delegations attends the meetings in China

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung arrived back in Yangon on Saturday after attending the (ASEAN-Henan Cooperation Conference on Food and Agriculture in China.

Likewise, a delegation led by Deputy Minister Dr Tin Htut also arrived back in Yangon on the same day, after attending the 3rd Greater Mekong Sub-Region Agriculture Ministers Meeting and China-Myanmar Bilateral Meeting on Agriculture Development.

At the ASEAN-Henan Cooperation Conference on Food and Agriculture, the attendees discussed matters for cooperation in agriculture sector among the ASEAN member states and regional countries. The delegation also visited the 3rd Silk Road Agriculture Cooperation Expo.

During the 3rd Greater Mekong Sub-Region Agriculture Ministers Meeting and China-Myanmar Bilateral Meeting on Agriculture Development, Deputy Minister Dr Tin Htut discussed matters on cooperation in agriculture sector, the projects being implemented by Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund, increased exports of agriculture and fishery products from Myanmar to China and capacity building programs for human resource development.
