Tour in Tianjin: Myanmar delegation attends WVTEDC 2024 in China

Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Education Dr Zaw Myint visited Tiankai Higher Education Innovation Park during their stay in Tianjin of China on November 20th. The delegation is in China to attend the 2024 World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference which was held in from November 20th to 22nd.

On the 21st, the Deputy Minister attended the opening ceremony of the Conference, and took a tour of the special exhibition. The Deputy Minister later participated in the conference workshop under the title “Work and Integrated Learning in Vocational Education”. He discussed the implementation of vocational education in Myanmar, with the offering of Bachelor and Diploma Courses for MSME development.

On the 22nd, the delegation visited Tianjin Foreign Studies University and discussed with officials for promoting cooperation between the language universities. They then toured around the university compound, encouraging the students learning Myanmar language.
