Dominica’s Highest National Honor Conferred on PM Modi

Dominica’s President Sylvanie Burton presented the Dominica Award of Honour, the nation’s highest accolade, to India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The award is in recognition of Modi’s contributions to Dominica during the COVID-19 Pandemic and his dedication to strengthening the partnership between the two countries.

India supplied Dominica with 70 thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine during the pandemic in February 2021. The award also recognizes India’s support for Dominica in healthcare, education and information technology under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
