Special Training Course: Special Training Course for Basic Education Teachers

The opening ceremony of the Special Training Course (Batch No. 108)for Basic Education Teachers was held at the Yatana Thingaha Hall of the Civil Service Academy (Lower Myanmar) on 18th November.

The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board U Aung Thaw and member U Soe Tint, Director General of the Chairman’s Office, the Rector and Pro-Rectors of the Civil Service Academy (Lower Myanmar), responsible officials, the Deputy Director General from the Yangon Region Education Office, as well as trainees of the course.

In his opening speech, U Aung Thaw, Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board, emphasized that the course aims to enhance the mindset and discipline of the civil service personnel teachers, improve their knowledge of basic education as well as civil service-related knowledge and experiences, and promote unity, trust, and positive attitudes.

He stressed the importance of teachers being politically neutral, disciplined, and serving as role models with exemplary conduct. Teachers were encouraged to mentor and guide students to become patriotic youth with strong moral character and good citizenship.

Furthermore, he urged teachers to continuously learn innovative teaching methods and share their knowledge with future generations, contributing to the development of a healthy and educated nation as excellent civil servants. A total of 392trainees including 30males and 362females are participating in the Special Training Course (Batch No. 108)forBasic Education Teachers. The course will run for five weeks, from November 18 to December 20, 2024.
