


The Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development launched a capacity-building training course on Monday for personnel from the Department of Cooperatives and executives of cooperative societies.Union Minister U Hla Moe attended the event and delivered the speech.
In his speech, he underscored the importance of strengthening agricultural production in Myanmar, a country with a rich agricultural and livestock heritage. The Union Minister also outlined four key strategies to achieve optimal crop yields and stressed the importance of ongoing supervision to ensure farmers follow all steps, from plowing to harvesting, effectively.
The course focused on the development of cooperative societies, sunflower cultivation methods for higher yields and proper fund management, accounting and auditing, with guidance from Cooperatives and Agriculture department officials.Over 900 trainees will attend in both theoretical and practical sessions, alongside online training, from November 18th to 21st.
