The Kanagawa Festival in Hanoi 2024, organized by the Hanoi and Kanagawa governments, took place last weekend. This annual event highlights Japanese culture and attracts a large crowd with activities such as Quan họ singing, ninja performances, and yosakoi dancing.
First held in 2018, the festival has become a key platform for cultural exchange between Viet Nam and Japan, offering a unique opportunity for people from both countries to connect. Over the years, it has helped strengthen ties between Hanoi and Kanagawa. In October, the two regions signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a framework for deeper cooperation in investment, tourism, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.
This collaboration aims to boost the economic and social development of both regions and further deepen the friendly relationship between Viet Nam and Japan.
