Inspection Tour: Efforts for socio-economic progress in rural areas

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe met with farmers and cotton entrepreneurs from Min Buu and Min Hla Townships on Sunday. He discussed the timely distribution of quality cotton seeds and supply of insecticides. They then viewed the operation process of cotton mill and oil mill.

On arrival at Sin Gaung Village, the Deputy Minister oversaw the thriving plantations of cooperative member farmers. He then met with the cotton and sun flower growers and provided hybrid sunflower species.

In Ai Gyi Kone Village, the Deputy Minister inspected the construction of production lane, being implemented by the budget allotment of Department of Rural Development in 2024-2025 fiscal year. In meeting with the villagers, the Deputy Minister instructed for successful cultivation of crops and conducting vocational training.

In Myo Thit Township, the Deputy Minister inspected concrete paving of village road connecting Pay Pin Yoe and Bagan Hmyaw villages.
