Tour in Magwe Region: Development works inspected in Magwe

A new bridge was commissioned into service in Beikthano Ancient Town of Taung Twin Gyi Township in Magwe Region on Saturday.

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U MyintSoe attended the ceremony and formally opened the newly constructed MyittaPaungku Bridge. The bridge was constructed with the contribution of the ThaePhyuMahaMyaingTawyaSayadaw and well-wishers.

The 180 ft long bridge was constructed on the road to ShweYaung Taw Pagoda, the landmark of Beikthano. The Deputy Minister later inspected the tarred paving of village road in ChaungKaunt Village of Sin Paung We Township.

They then met with the local farmers from six townships and instructed for achieving the targeted yield of oil crops. The Deputy Minister also inspected the process of making natural fertilizer and thriving hybrid sunflower plantations. In Su Kaunt San Village, the Deputy Minister inspected the gravel paving works of the village road.
