Land Utilization: Scrutinizing Committee meeting held in Chin State

Scrutinizing Committee on Confiscated Farmlands and other Lands in Chin State held its meeting at state government office on November 14.

The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Dr. Wong HsunHtang in his capacity as Committee Chairman together with the Vice Chairman of the Committee and Security and Border Affairs Minister and many other concerned officials.

The Chief Minister said meeting minutes on case of confiscated farmlands and other Lands within the state will be reported to concerned department. He urged attendees to make constructive discussion as the working processes of scrutinizing confiscated farmlands and other Lands need thorough consideration.

Then, the Joint Secretary of the committee clarified 7 cases of scrutinizing confiscated farmlands and other Lands.  It was followed by the reports on implementation of working process made by the attendees. Upon the reports, the Chief Minister coordinated the needs, made decision on the cases that need to be closed and further negotiation.
