A new area based on the "Donkey Kong" games was unveiled at the Universal Studios Japan amusement park on Tuesday, expanding Nintendo's zone there -- already a major tourist draw. Its doors open following last month’s launch of the first ever Nintendo museum in a renovated factory in Kyoto.

As previously announced, guests can step into DK’s tropical jungle and ride Mine-Cart Madness, a roller coaster with ride vehicles that seem to jump over broken track pieces, a sensation that will be familiar to players of the long-running Donkey Kong video games.
