Industrial Development: Efforts for industrial supervision and inspection

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than visited Mandalay Region Department of Industrial Supervision and Inspection on Saturday, and met with the officials who provided update reports on conducting field survey for industrial zones development.

The Union Minister stressed the need to avoid environmental damages due to the industries, while striving to boost production and create job opportunities for socio-economic development. On arrival at Flour Mill in Mandalay Industrial Zone, the Union Minister heard reports on work undertakings at the mill, and observed the production process.
