Work Coordination Meeting: Plans for successful holding of traditional events

A work coordination meeting for successful holding of Tazaungdaing festival, traditional harvest feasts, Christmas Celebration, 77th Anniversary of Independence Day and Kachin State Day took place at the hall of the State Government Office on Friday.

During the meeting, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan emphasized on holding of traditional cultural festivals peacefully and resoundingly, based on previous experiences. During the meeting, the attendees made discussions upon the weak points of previous year.

Upon the reports, the Chief Minister called for collective works of sub-committee for successful holding of the festivals and coordinated the requirement on preparation and working  plans of related officials. Then, the Chief Minister and party attended the mass-walk which is organized in commemoration of the 5th National Sports Festival.

They enjoyed the 800-meter walk along the state football stadium, together with athletes who are undergoing camp training for the 5th National Sports Festival. The Chief Minsiter and party also oversaw the seasonal flu vaccination campaign, launched by the Department of Public Health at the hall of the State Government Office.
