Bangladesh to repeal Cyber Security Act

Bangladesh’s interim government has decided to repeal the Cyber Security Act-2023, enacted during the tenure of ousted Awami League. The council of advisers at its meeting on 7th November approved in principal the draft of the Cyber Security Act (Repeal) Ordinance –2024. The meeting was held at Chief Adviser’s Office in Dhaka with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus in the chair.
