36th Anniversary of GAD: SAC member MOHA UM attends the anniversary

The 36th Anniversary of the General Administration Department was celebrated in Hotel Max on 7th November.

At the occasion, Member of State Administration Council, Union Minister for Home Affairs, Lt-Gen YarPyae said that the General Administration Department has played a crucial role throughout Myanmar’s administrative history, the department has adapted to various forms with each change in the state’s administrative mechanism and has continued to stand as a significant pillar supporting the nation's governance to the present day, a fact to be proud of.

As the General Administration Department carries out its objectives of upholding the rule of law, maintaining community peace and stability, promoting regional development and providing public services, it diligently adheres to the national policies, fundamental principles, and standard procedures in fulfilling its duties.

He emphasized the importance of fostering capable and high-quality administrative officials who consistently prioritize the nation’s best interests.

Next, the uniforms and basic foodstuff for the personnel of the General Administration Department were provided and the prizes were awarded to those who won the prize of model trainees and first prize in the trainings opened in the Civil Service Academy and the training school for the development of administrative skills.
