Inspection of construction works: Rakhine State CM inspected construction works in Sittwe

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin accompanied by State government members and departmental officials inspected construction of two temples for Maravijaya and Abhayarajamuni  Buddha images in Lawkananda pagoda in Sittwe Township on November 6.

First, the chief Minister and party offered flowers, oil lamps and water to the Buddha images in Lawkananda pagoda.

Next, the Chief Minister and party inspected laying marble slabs on the pagoda platform, construction of two temples for Maravijaya and Abhayarajamuni  Buddha images, heard the clarification of the conderned officials, gave necessary instructions, erected auspicious pole and sprinkled with scented water. Then, he inspected renovation of ornamented victory column at the platform of Lawkananda pagoda, heard the clarification of the officials and gave necessary instruction.

Fallowing this, the Chief Minister and party paid homage to the Agulamarazein Pyilonechanthapagoda, inspected upgrading maze ground in Sittwe, paid homage to Yan Pyay Mann Pyay pagoda, inspected ground where the offering lamps and releasing hot air balloon during Dazaungdaing Festival and gave necessary instructions.

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister and officials attended the work coordination meeting for organizing 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Rakhine state Day held at the state government office. At  the meeting, Chief Minister discussed the necessary preparations for organizing 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Rakhine state Day which will fall on 15th December, 2024 and offered to give necessary suggestions to the attendees.

Then, the Chairman of work Committee and officials clarified the arrangements to be carried by the committees and the Chief Minister took part in the discussion and gave a speech of conclusion.
