Completion of Pre-Employment Training: UEC Chairman attended and gave a remark

The ceremony of completing pre-work Capacity Building training (2/2024) for the staff officers who will serve at the offices in different levels of Sub Election commissions was held at the office of Union Election Commission in Nay Pyi Taw on 6th November.

In his opening remark, the Union Election Commission U Ko Ko said that the trainee officers are going to serve the office duties at the assigned location as well as the electoral officer to carry out Election work process successfully.

When the Election is forthcoming, the relevant sub–Election Commission comprised of distinguished persons and the departmental personnel should be formed. With the help of those dignitaries who have experiences, the Election process should be conducted.

The Election awareness and trainings for those who will serve in polling stations should be conducted. The civil service personnel need to be competent regarding with Election law, by-laws, directives and procedures.

The challenges in upcoming Election unlike the previous ones may encounter. The challenges should be overcome with perseverance and unity and all are urged to strive for the implementation of being historic, free and fair Election which is trusted and accepted by many.
