Inspection tour : Shan State CM made inspection tour in Tachileik District

On November 4, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, accompanied by the relevant officials, paid homage at the Replica of Shwe Dagon Pagoda in Tachileik District and offered flowers, water, oil lamps, and incense sticks.

Following this, the Chief Minister and party paid homage to Tachileik Township PoneLo Sayadaw and offered offertories.

They then visited the Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Bridge, where the Chief Minister instructed for the clearance of overgrown bushes near its entry and exit to improve accessibility.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister reviewed progress reports on the ongoing repairs of the 240-foot TharYar Aye Bridge (2/95) along the MongSat-MongKhote-MongPhyat road and addressed the necessary requirements for its completion.

Upon arrival at Buddha Park in Kengtung Township, the Chief Minister, together with the commander of the Triangle Region Command and the officials, paid homage to the Presiding Patron of Thiladhamma Kontha Tawya Monastery Wasipeik Sayadaw, and made a cash donation. They also paid homage to the Abhaya Raja Muni Buddha Image located within the park.

The Chief Minister and party then visited a dairy cow raising farm owned by Daw Shwe Yi Phuu in Kengtung Township, where they received reports on the farm’s operations. In response, the Chief Minister provided dairy cattle supplements, which were gratefully accepted by the farm owner.
