






A preparatory briefing for business entrepreneurs regarding the Micro, Small and MediumEnterprises (MSMEs) (Manufacturing) Survey (2024) was held at the Zabuthiri Hall, Naypyidaw Council office on Tuesday with the attendance of Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo and Council members, departmental officials and the MSME association members and business entrepreneurs from Pyinmana Township.
During the event, Naypyidaw Council Chairman U Than Htun Oo gave an address, emphasizing the importance of identifying the needs of MSMEs and the aspects that could help them progress. He announced that the Micro, Small and MediumEnterprises (MSMEs) (Manufacturing) Survey will be conducted in the 2024-2025 fiscal year to achieve this. He highlighted the need for collaboration and active participation from business entrepreneurs, encouraging them to accurately report their needs and challenges to contribute to the growth of manufacturing sector in the country. He stressed the importance of high-quality data for the survey, which will help support the sector’s development.
Following this, Deputy Director-General of the Central Statistics Organization U Than Zaw under the Ministry of Planning and Finance provided a detailed explanation of the 2024 MSME survey.
Next, the entrepreneurs engaged in discussions, asking questions and presenting their concerns, which were addressed by the departmental officials. Finally, Naypyidaw Council Chairman U Than Htun Oo cordially greeted and encouraged the attending business entrepreneurs.
