India, Viet Nam hold bilateral military exercise involving armies and air forces

The opening ceremony of the 5th edition of the joint military exercise between India and Viet Nam, Exercise VINBAX 2024, was held on Monday in Ambala. The Indian Army contingent comprising 47 personnel is being represented by a Regiment of the Corps of Engineers along with personnel from other arms and services.

The Vietnamese contingent comprising similar strength will be represented by troops of the Viet Nam People's Army. The exercise will continue until 23 November, aiming to foster collaborative partnership, promote interoperability, and share best practices between Engineer Companies and Medical Teams of the two armies to enhance joint military capabilities.
