The three astronauts from China’s Shenzhou-18 mission have returned to Earth with scientific materials collected from the Tiangong space station. The return capsule, carrying astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Cong, and Li Guangsu, landed at the Dongfeng site in Inner Mongolia on Monday morning. During their six-month mission, the Shenzhou-18 crew conducted approximately 90 experiments across various fields, including material science, life science, medicine and space technology.

Among the samples they brought back were types of life science specimens and material science samples. The astronauts also monitored zebrafish in a closed ecosystem with aquatic plants, which provided insights into their behavior under microgravity conditions.
