Tour in Nay Pyi Taw: Development works in Nay Pyi Taw inspected

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, along with departmental officials, conducted an inspection of the drainage systems along the Yangon-Mandalay Union Highway from Pinlaung intersection to Kyaukchat Village.

During the visit, they instructed for garbage clearance for better water flow and swift excavation of water channels. They continued their inspection at the Dhana Theikdhi Water Factory in ZabuThiri Township and reviewed the project plans.

The project aims to secure additional water resources from the Chaung Ma Nge Dam through SinOhn Lake, ensuring a sufficient drinking water for Nay Pyi Taw. The Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman heard reports on the drinking water supply and distribution.

The Council Chairman also instructed for a long-term strategy to prevent shortages during low rainfall years. They then visited the Thukha TawWin Housing Project site in ZabuThiri Township and heard the progress reports. Upon the reports, the Council Chairman instructed for timely completion and adherence to established standards.
