Tour in Nay Pyi Taw: Development works in Nay Pyi Taw inspected

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U ThanTunOo on 1st November attended the provision ceremony for winter crops seeds in Kyaut Chet Agri-Business Knowledge Center in the Aik South village tract of Zeya Thiri Township.

During the Ceremony, the Council Chairman highlighted the need to strive for cultivation of seasonal crops in the farmlands, damaged by the Typhoon Yago. He also emphasized for prevention of wasting irrigated water and complying the systematic cultivation methods.

Then, provision of sunflower and mung bean seeds were presented to the farmers. Next, the Council Chairman and party inspected the repair works of a bridge and canal and gravel paving of Shwe Pay and Shar Say Pho inter-village road in Zeyathiri Township. 

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo coordinated and gave necessary instructions to ensure sustainability in carrying out activities, systematically manage the rapid replanting of farmland in flooded area and establishment of a special cultivation zone.

Subsequently, the Council Chairman and party observed the activities that need to be carried out to ensure proper water flow in the Aye Myint Thar Ya village of Pobbathiri Township, cleaning and beautifying tasks in Pauk Taw Village Primary School, construction progress of the new school building and cleanliness activities along the Aye Myint Thar road.
