Coordination Meeting: Discussion focused on farmland development

Clarification on the guidance of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and work coordination meeting of state level departmental officials took place on Thursday at Yamanya Hall of the State Government office in Mawlamyine Township, Mon State.

The meeting was attended by Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, Chief Justice of the State High Court, ministers, departmental officials and invited guests. First, the guidance of the Prime Minister was read out by the Chief Minister, calling for successful progress of sector wise working processes thoroughly.

He also gave necessary instructions on development of farmlands within the State as well as the needs for implementing the tasks in line with the existing Laws, instructions and procedures depending on the types of lands.

He stressed the needs for implementation of systematic land management to prevent the alternate use of farmlands without permission. He also urged the departmental officials to report on difficulties and the needs during the meeting. Upon the reports, the Chief Minister coordinated the requirement and delivered conclusion remark.
